The key details you're looking for
Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was a highlight, setting us up for each day.
The location, while close to the airport, brings noise from traffic that might disrupt your rest.

Staff was nice but the room stink was terrible.
It stunk of old cigarettes. All the rooms had ashtrays and for $70 it was a total ripoff.

Delicious breakfast - 3 star level. Good customer service.

The staff was friendly, nice, but that can't compensate for the ridiculously low water pressure in the shower and the barely functioning fridge, made more noise than my last date. Woudl it have killed them to give a complimentary welcome gift? I almost wrote a glowing review but just couldn't.

Cheap bar on site (although desperately quiet). Not far from Montevideo- Carassco airport.
Booked a triple room - upon arrival this meant double+single (whereas every other triple I have ever booked has meant 3 beds). Thus charged more for what we wanted. Rooms are basically furnished but included plastic covered mattress covers, which are at best uncomfortable, and usually a reflection of the clientele expected. The bar/restaurant was totally dead - not an attractive place to eat. It was cheap enough for a quick beer though. The chap on recpetion is also the barman is also room service. There didn't appear to be much around the hotel: the restaurant opposite the hotel was closed (for good?). The 'Geant' shopping mall which includes a Mcdonalds is as good as it got. Occupancy appeared to be 6 out of 74 rooms, This is not a 3-star hotel. At best it is a 1- star, and is clearly a shadow of its former self.

Location near the airport was the main reason for booking.
The hotel is very modest as far as facilities, quality of furniture, room space and comfort are concerned. When I book it it was difficult to assess these aspects. I spent very few hours in the room with my wife and mother, I left at 3:00 am to catch a flight and all the arrangements worked out well. Next time I will choose another hotel if I have a choice of alternatives.

Close. To the airport. Good price and services, great value. If you are looking to stay in Montevideo, this hotel is about 30 mins from downtown. There is no activities whatsoever in this area. So forget about restaurants, bar or any kind of entertaiment. However is you want to be close to airport.THIS Is it. Good hotel, very friendly people, clean.
Like I said. Other than staying close te the airport, this doesnt have any other value. Or price if your budget is short

Closeness to the airport
The hotel staff made Uruguay seem very very unsafe making afraid to venture into the old city, however once there it was not as unsafe as the hotel safe mentioned. Also their website said bicycles were complimentary however when we got there they wanted to charge us for use of the bicycles and then saying that the website was not up to date.

We used this place as our base and checked out the nearby beach and the golf course. There's always some live music and even a fireworks show on certain nights. The amenities like the game room and playground.
One downside was the limited breakfast options. It was all just different kinds of bread.

We stayed in spotlessly clean and bright room with at least a table that also had wake-up service. Had lots of options for breakfast, it was delicious. The service was good throughout our stay. The employees at the hotel were extremely helpful.
